Both visas are for studying in Japan, and both visas have almost the same qualifications during your stay, however for the students who have a college student visa have more privileges, such as scholarships and student accommodations from the government, health insurance support and subsidies, and free entrance to cultural facilities in Osaka. You will be studying in the Dept. of Japanese Studies in a vocational college, so you will be able to obtain a college student visa.
